This is a traditional Ukrainian salad, whose primary ingredients include cabbage and kielbasa, or sausage. It is very quick to make and is very yummy and you’ll get a craving for it!
First, you need the following ingredients:
10-13 oz of kielbasa, salami, or sausage
1/2 of a cabbage
1/2 of an onion
10 oz of peas (one frozen package or one can)
3 spoonful heaps of mayo
Here I use Polish kielbasa but you can really use any kind of sausage that you wish.
Next, chop up the cabbage, onion, and sausage really finely. It is key to chop the vegetables really small because the salad tastes better that way.
Next put the chopped cabbage, onion, and sausage as well as the peas into a bowl. Using a regular soup or cereal spoon, heap in about 3 spoonfulls of mayonnaise. (Here I used organic mayo.) Mix all together.
Next, portion out on your favorite dishware, decorate with some chives, and enjoy!
